Consider the Stars is a book comprised of 17 faith-based sketches, each waiting to be lifted off the page and performed for an enjoyable church service, Bible study or youth group activity. Most of the sketches have been tried and tested before live audiences – in some cased hundreds of times.
Consider the Stars lets you tell the story and invites anyone and everyone to participate, which offers an equal and shared blessing.
Consider the Stars uses stories, scripture, and acting to forge strong belief systems. Jesus told stories to develop faith (i.e. what we believe), which in turn protects, encourages and determines our destiny.
Consider the Stars is rewarding as it offers a means to work to improve yourself through the presentation process. Acting inspires the dyslexic or challenged reader to open a book, memorize a part, and gain confidence.
Consider the Stars is fun. Acting is fun. Playing roles, being creative, exploring possibilities, heightening your senses is fun. That is why they call it “a play”.
Of all the work John Steven Lindsay has produced, the most impactful thing he’s ever done was to put Jesus Christ at the center of everything he does.
