Zenobia Orimoloye

Zenobia Orimoloye grew up in Chicago, Illinois, in one of the oldest Black communities in America, Morgan Park. She’s lived in Chicago, Milwaukee, Knoxville, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Austin’s Fuse Box Festival called “All the Sex I’ve Ever Had.” She’s listed “Two Thousand Notable American Women” in the American Biographical Institute. Impressions is her fifth book, following Passages (up close and personal short stories), Reflections (short stories of memorable moments), Choices (thirteen short stories) and Bits of Pieces (sixteen poems and four short stories). She’s written three plays: Brothers, Deception, and The Visit. Zenobia’s work has been broadcast on KUT-FM, Austin’s NPR affiliate. She is a graduated of Loyola University and retired civil servant who currently lives in Austin, Texas.
