Citi of Books is delighted to announce the publication of another magnificent JR Conway’s book, “Sum-Mit: The Pistol Murder – A Proud Farewell and a Peace Officers Creed.” This mystery detective book is now available for purchase at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retail outlets.
Born in Washington, DC, J.R. Conway grew up on a farm in Maryland. He was 21 years old when he was drafted into the US Army. He was a Vietnam War veteran who flew helicopters for several tours. After retiring, JR joined the El Paso County, Colorado, Sheriff’s Office and donned a new outfit. For a short while, he operated a fixed-base business selling aircraft and instructing pilots. He thought it was not the smartest thing he had done.
JR relocated from Colorado to Wyoming and established a security and private investigation business there with his wife. Twelve years after starting that business, JR relocated to New Mexico and began a new profession as a business consultant and manager of a Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at a community college that assisted companies in doing business with governments.
“Sum-Mit: The Pistol Murder – A Proud Farewell and a Peace Officers Creed” is a thrilling novel about a police officer with the Rock Springs Police Department who is found dead behind the Crystal Pistol, a popular night spot in town. The circumstances surrounding the cop’s death are very suspicious. Being the top law enforcement officer in the county, Craig Spence is asked to investigate. The daughter of Craig’s top deputy reveals that she has been sexually assaulted, and Craig moves to apprehend the perpetrator, keeping the dad from taking things into his own hands.
