It's important to follow some of the basic principles of meditation to achieve a useful practice. Your goal is to stop using your mind. Allow your body to reach a state of complete peace with yourself and your life in the present moment.an excerpt from the book
For many people, the mind rarely takes a break. Thoughts race from one responsibility to the next, replaying past mistakes, worrying about the future, and searching endlessly for solutions. “Using Your Mind: Get Healthier and Happier in Seven Days Using Meditation and Diet” (Spanish Edition) by Celia Ko offers a refreshing alternative to this exhausting cycle. Rather than encouraging readers to think harder, the book invites them to discover the freedom, clarity, and peace that can emerge when they learn to step beyond constant mental activity. Proudly published by Citi of Books, the book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major retail platforms.
Celia Ko was born in China, raised in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, and pursued her college studies in both Taiwan and Hawaii—an experience that enriched her artistic and cultural perspective. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Religion from the University of Hawaii, where her passion for both creativity and spirituality began to merge. A gifted watercolor and oil painter, Celia channels her deep appreciation for life and mindfulness into her art, while also expressing her thoughts and wisdom through her published works written in Chinese.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Celia has been an active member of the literary and wellness communities in Hawaii. Since 1997, she has served as the Treasurer of the Hawaii Chinese Writers’ Association and continues to contribute her leadership and insight as the organization’s Vice President. She also holds the position of Vice President at Hawaii Xing Yuan Tang (Realizing Your Will), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting inner peace and well-being.

At its heart, the book challenges a common assumption that more thinking automatically leads to better answers. In modern life, many people have been conditioned to believe that every problem requires additional analysis, planning, or worry. Yet despite all that mental effort, countless individuals still find themselves overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, and disconnected from the present moment. Celia Ko encourages readers to consider a different possibility: that true clarity often emerges not from adding more thoughts, but from creating space beyond them.
The book combines meditation practices, dietary insights, and mindful awareness into a seven-day journey designed to help readers experience noticeable shifts in their mental and emotional well-being. By integrating both physical and mental habits, Ko demonstrates how overall wellness is influenced not only by what we think but also by how we care for our bodies and respond to everyday experiences.
The message resonates particularly well with people who feel trapped in cycles of stress, self-doubt, and overthinking. Busy professionals juggling demanding schedules, caregivers supporting loved ones, creatives navigating uncertainty, and individuals facing major life transitions may all find value in the book’s insights. Anyone who has ever wished they could quiet their mind, even for a moment, will likely recognize themselves within its pages.
One of the book’s most powerful lessons is rooted in a simple truth: not every challenge can be solved by thinking harder. Ko uses relatable examples that illustrate how excessive mental activity can sometimes create confusion rather than clarity. Much like muddy water becomes clearer when left undisturbed, the mind often finds answers when given the opportunity to settle. This perspective encourages readers to replace constant striving with patience, awareness, and trust.
Beyond stress reduction, “Stop Using Your Mind: Get Healthier and Happier in Seven Days Using Meditation and Diet” also promotes a deeper sense of intentional living. By becoming more aware of thoughts, habits, and daily choices, readers are empowered to cultivate healthier relationships with themselves and the world around them. The result is not merely temporary relief but a more sustainable approach to well-being rooted in mindfulness and balance.
Excitingly, “Stop Using Your Mind: Get Healthier and Happier in Seven Days Using Meditation and Diet” is now available in Spanish, allowing even more readers to access its calming and transformative message in their native language. This expanded accessibility reflects Celia Ko’s desire to help people from diverse backgrounds discover greater peace, awareness, and emotional well-being through mindful living. Whether read in Spanish or English, the book offers a practical and inspiring guide for anyone seeking to quiet mental noise, embrace the present moment, and live with greater clarity and intention.
