Dr. Sylvester Carrington was born in Barbados, where he completed his education through high school and teacher’s college. He is a retired educator with extensive teaching and administrative experience at all levels of private, public, and college education. He is also the author of A Principal’s Personal Journey and It’s Your Word Against Mine. He and his wife, Hortense, are the parents of two adult sons and two grandchildren.
