Dennis Frank Tomas Macek, formerly a U.S. government operative, college English teacher, and air-conditioning technician, lives in Odessa, Texas, with his wife Judith Kay Wilson, a retired professor of literacy.
“I turned to A/C mechanics to gain freedom for me to write A Rose from Charlie and Marie and write screenplays. Marriage to my wife forms the foundation for my writing. We met at the University of Texas (in separate Ph. D. programs) in 1977. Judith is a master of many arts, including painting with watercolors, planting pollinators, and cooking pozole. She plans to learn yoga better. I am trying to learn to play guitar.”
