Wanda F. Kenty’s inspirational book, “Two Sides To Every Story: His and Ours,” was among the books featured in the December 2024 issue of The New York Times Book Review (NYTBR) magazine.
Wanda Kenty was born as the seventh child of a seventh child. During her childhood and throughout her teenage years she was engaged in an on and off search for God but could not find Him. She had made so many mistakes during that time that her life just did not make sense anymore. She didn’t know what to do to get God’s attention.
One day she opened her heart to God and cried out to Him to show His face. She told Him she needed Him! But she didn’t know how to have faith in Him. She told Him she once heard that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. So, she told God she was going to close her eyes, open her bible and ask God to take her to a place in His word where she could see what faith looks like.
Wanda closed her eyes and placed her fingers in the Bible. When she felt to stop, she opened the Bible. And there before her eyes was the 23rd Psalm. A very true story. When she finally learned to surrender, she didn’t have to search anymore. God came to her.
“Two Sides To Every Story: His And Ours” is a profound exploration for those seeking to understand the Almighty Father God and His connection to humanity. Written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Wanda Kenty shares her journey of faith and the divine revelations that affirm God and His Word as absolute truth. The book emphasizes that all of creation reflects God’s love and provision, highlighting the transformative power of understanding God as a trinity and recognizing humanity’s divine image.
Wanda candidly reflects on her initial doubts and feelings of unworthiness, challenging the belief that God favors some over others. By linking biblical principles with scientific insights, she underscores the eternal nature of life within each person. Through analogies, the book illustrates the relationship between the temporary body and the eternal spirit, inviting readers to engage with biblical truths as a path to redemption and fulfillment. Ultimately, Wanda aims to glorify God through her testimony and encourages readers to embrace the life offered through faith in Christ.
