Having “Trust and Obey” by Jacquelyn Rhodes displayed by Citi of Books in London feels like a celebration of every page and dream poured into its creation. It’s more than a milestone; it’s a moment of joy, pride, and possibility.

Pastor Jacquelyn Rhodes is a former public high school teacher in Michigan. However, God called her into ministry. He told her to feed My sheep and to teach them to obey Him. With that goal in mind, she and her late husband Co-pastor David Rhodes founded their church, New Life! Christian Ministries in 1991. Through the years, as she has pastored and taught God’s Word, He developed another ministry in her which is biblical writing. TRUST AND OBEY is her first publication.

Faith is not just believing; it’s trusting and obeying. This little nugget perfectly captures the essence of “Trust and Obey” by Jacquelyn Rhodes, a heartfelt collection of biblical poetry that graced the shelves at the 2026 London Book Fair. Attendees who stopped by the booth were drawn not only to the beauty of the words but also to the inspiring message woven throughout each poem. Pastor Rhodes’ devotion to God’s Word and her desire to encourage readers to experience His blessings resonated strongly with visitors from all walks of life.

The book offered more than just verses—it provided a roadmap for living a blessed life through trust and obedience to God. Many fair-goers remarked on how the poems illustrated the real-life impact of faith, showing both the rewards of obedience and the consequences of disobedience, all through relatable biblical examples. Visitors were especially captivated by the way the poems highlighted how God’s supernatural move in the lives of His people can lead to peace, strength, and miraculous experiences.

What made Trust and Obey stand out at the fair was its approachable yet profound style. Pastor Rhodes’ personal stories and deep study of Scripture came through in every page, making the collection relatable and encouraging for anyone seeking spiritual growth. Whether you were a long-time believer or someone just exploring faith, the poems offered insights, inspiration, and practical lessons that could change the way you live and think about God’s Word.

The London Book Fair crowd loved discovering this gem. Attendees left the booth talking about the clarity, warmth, and encouragement the book provided. It was clear that Trust and Obey was more than just poetry—it was a guide to transforming one’s life through biblical principles. For those who picked it up, it wasn’t just a book; it was a reminder that trusting and obeying God truly opens the door to blessings beyond measure.
