Citi of Books is glad to announce the publication of the book “The Miracle of the Ugly Little Sweater: A Tale of Redemption” by Bob Schuck. It is a children’s book which centers on a little girl, Maria, and her little sweater she named “mija”. This is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retail sites.

Bob Schuck is a dedicated practicing attorney based in Findlay, Ohio, where he has built a reputable career in the legal field. He is happily married and takes great pride in his role as a father to two adult children, fostering a close-knit family atmosphere. Bob is always eager to engage with others and welcomes any questions or comments. He can be reached at myuglysweater@outlook.com.

“The Miracle of the Ugly Sweater” was made from the author’s dream that sparked his imagination. As Bob developed the story and illustrations, he discovered that it represents a journey of redemption. It tells the heartfelt tale of a young girl who treasures the sweater she created with her own hands.

Maria reluctantly sells her sweater because she wants to do her part in helping her family by paying for their trip from Mexico to America. It was everything to her, but her selfless act sets in motion events that reunite her with the sweater she sacrificed to help those she loves.

The little sweater has been passed from one person to another several times. At one point, it cried and asked, “Will anyone ever want me?” Another larger sweater comforted the little sweater and encouraged it that it was not the end. A lady set eyes on the little sweater and bought it. She wrapped it very well and gave it to Maria as a gift. Maria and the little sweater were surprised and shed tears of longing for each other.

The book not only aims to entertain but also has a lesson in it. Recent national and world events have made the author aware that oftentimes, children are the ones most overlooked in things that are happening to them over which they have no control. Little ones are the most vulnerable and should not have cause to lose hope at such a young age.

The author said in the book, “It is my prayer that this little story will help them forget about their circumstances, at least for a moment, and have hope that somehow, some way, everything will work out for them in the end.”
