When it comes to providing information to the public or introducing a brand, a radio interview is one of the best mediums to use. That is why, in cooperation with CBS Radio’s host Benji Cole and Citi of Books Publishing, the inspiring and amazing stories behind every author’s work will be heard.

CBS Radio host Benji Cole interviews Jon F. Gleman, the author of “Life’s Journey: Volume 1.” They discuss the inspiration and concept of the book the author has written. One of the highlights of the interview was when the author was asked about the book cover and what his inspiration was for it. The author answered that it was inspired by a poem that was also written in his book.

Jon F. Gleman, the author of the book, was born just outside of Charleston, West Virginia. His family moved out of Charleston when he was a little more than one year old and made a couple of stops on their southward journey before settling in Miami, Florida when he was six years old. These stops and growing up in Miami in the 1950s and 1960s cemented his love of nature.

Jon has had several careers during his journey. He graduated with a BS in biology from the University of Miami and worked as an ecologist for many years in the 1970s and 1980s. During this time, he created and ran a small mail-order bookshop on the natural sciences, the Naturalist Bookshop.

“Life’s Journey: Volume 1” is not just an inspiring book about the author’s experience but also contains awareness that humans are responsible for protecting and preserving our nature.

No matter where you live on this planet, there is one thing that we all need to agree on: It may be the most important decision mankind ever makes. Time is running out, and we won’t get a second chance. Our planet, Mother Earth, is talking to us. At this point, she is imploring us to set things right and to stop defiling and polluting our home—the very planet we live on, along with all our earth-born companions. It must stop, or life as we know it will change for the worse. It already is.

Jon hopes that you will find these stories of his journey entertaining and enlightening. They will inspire you to do all that you can connect with our earth-born companions and to restore, preserve, and protect our beautiful home, Mother Earth.
