Citi of Books is proud to have been part of this prestigious event, representing the incredible works of our talented authors in stand 7B94. In our assigned booth, a range of books—from fiction to nonfiction—would be on exhibit. A book included in the gallery was “From Menace to Ministry” by Shala King.
“From Menace to Ministry” is a heartfelt testament to the transformative power of God’s love, particularly for those who may feel lost or unworthy. The author shares their personal journey, illustrating how even the most troubled souls can find redemption and purpose through faith. This book serves as a beacon of hope, reminding readers that no matter their past, they are never beyond the reach of God’s grace. It encourages individuals to embrace their flaws and imperfections, recognizing that they are accepted and loved just as they are.
The central message of the book is one of reassurance and encouragement. In times of worry and confusion, the author urges readers to seek God’s presence, emphasizing that He is always ready to forgive and guide. Through the blood of Jesus, believers can find solace and strength, knowing that their sins are washed away and that they are part of a divine plan. This message resonates deeply, offering comfort to those who may feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges.
Ultimately, “From Menace to Ministry” is not just a narrative of personal transformation; it is an invitation to experience the unwavering support of God throughout life’s journey. The author reminds us that we are never alone, as God has been orchestrating our steps from the very beginning. With a hopeful and uplifting tone, the book encourages readers to trust in God’s plan, find rest in His presence, and embrace the promise of eternal life. It is a powerful reminder that with faith, nothing is impossible, and that every individual has the potential to turn their struggles into a meaningful ministry.
