Held from October 7 to 11, 2026, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the 78th Frankfurter Buchmesse brought together members of the international book and media industry for a five-day celebration of literature, publishing, and creative exchange. As one of the major meeting points for the global publishing community, the fair created a space where publishers, authors, literary agents, booksellers, rights professionals, distributors, and other industry representatives could meet, share ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration. Beyond showcasing books from different parts of the world, the event encouraged meaningful conversations about the future of publishing, the changing interests of readers, and the many ways stories can reach audiences across languages and cultures.
Among the titles represented by Citi of Books at this international literary gathering is “Day-to-Day Reflections Psalms and Proverbs” by Dr. Beverley Turner. The book joins a diverse collection of literary works featured at the fair, representing the creativity, unique perspectives, and storytelling approaches that make the publishing world vibrant and diverse. Its presence at the event offers an opportunity to introduce the author’s work to a broader international audience while contributing to the exchange of stories and ideas among readers, authors, and publishing professionals. Through the representation of titles across various genres and themes, Citi of Books continues to support opportunities for authors to expand their reach and connect with new audiences in the global literary community.
“Day-to-Day Reflections: Psalms and Proverbs” was born from a lifetime of mentoring girls and women to be strong in the Christian faith. It is a compilation of verses that Beverley has loved and oftentimes quoted, opened to, or directed mentees to locate in the Bible. The reflections are purposefully short, written for busy Moms, employees, students, etc., but the reader has the potential to ‘dig deeper’ through questions and responses.
She has continued her writing to include future publications, Day-to-Day Reflections: Acts through Corinthians and Day-to-Day Reflections: Galatians through Titus. Each day, Beverley sits before the Lord with her Bible open and her pen poised. With an open heart, she reads the selected scriptural verses and prayerfully writes the thoughts, ideas, verses, and songs that the Lord prompts her to pen. She often takes a walk during the day and ponders the scripture of the day, to hone the words, and prays over them, committing the readers to God’s perfect plan and unswerving care.
The book is particularly suited to busy parents, employees, students, and anyone who wants to make Scripture a more consistent part of everyday living. Its reflections are intentionally concise, allowing readers to begin with a manageable portion of devotional reading while still having opportunities to explore the passages more deeply through questions and responses.
By combining biblical verses with personal contemplation and practical application, Turner encourages readers not simply to read Scripture but also to pause, reflect, pray, and consider how its teachings can influence their attitudes and actions. The result is a devotional resource that emphasizes steady spiritual growth, renewed hope, and a closer walk with God through the wisdom and comfort found in Psalms and Proverbs.
