I was the chief and commander of this entire American dog army. They called me Max, the Scotch Commander. The general of my army was Eisenach, the Great Dane. The dog tank specialist was Lieutenant Patrick, the determined Wired Hair terrier. My Navy general was Schwartz, the notorious Greyhound. They were all trained in weaponry and war tactics at Quantico. I posted watchmen at the Dumfries Port looking for the Bulldog submarine where we had hidden bunkers 24 hours a day.
