Dr. James I. Wallace is an accomplished educational psychologist and author whose career blends academic, clinical practice, and teaching. A graduate of Dartmouth College (B.A. in psychology), Cornell University (M.Ed. in Counseling & Student Personnel Administration), and the University of Southern California (Ph.D. in educational psychology), he has also pursued lifelong professional development in areas such as trauma, mediation, crisis intervention, stress management, and child psychology.
Dr. Wallace served as a school psychologist in California and later in Central New York, including over a decade as a clinical psychologist with the Franziska Racker Centers. He has taught at TC3, Cornell University, Ithaca College, and Colgate University, while also running private practices in Ithaca and Hamilton. A dedicated aikido practitioner for decades, he is Chief Instructor of the Colgate Aikido Club.
