Paul Henry D’Anna. AKA PHD
I was born on August 27,1943 in New Orleans Louisiana in the French Quarter.
I attended St. Louis Cathedral elementary school and De La Salle High School. After graduating, I went to LSU and received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. I was hired by IBM in Huntsville, Alabama, and programmed the IBM 360 computers. Next, I held positions at Shell Oil Company and Mobil Exxon. In 1992, I started my own business named “PC CONSULTANTS, I retired in 2010 from everyday work and started growing mirlitons , a vegetable native to Louisiana.
WHY DID I WRITE THIS BOOK?
In 1959, I read an article about cadets from West Point stealing the Navy’s mascot. The NAVY goat. I thought that that was cool. I used to think of many ways to steal the goat and not get caught. I was inspired to write the book. In 1992, I read another article about Army cadets trying to steal the Navy goat again. At the same time, I read an unrelated article about the COMMANDER IN CHIEF’s Trophy. I researched it, and I said to myself that it would be great if the trophy could be stolen.
As I followed Desert Storm, I was intrigued by the air war, especially “Operation Normandy.”
.
THEN CAME COVID 19.
With everything coming to a halt, I started adding more to my notes.
Finally, in 2021 I went crazy writing hour after hour, day after day.

All of a sudden, I had a book. I wondered if anyone else would enjoy reading it.
So, here it is.
