Dr. Morgan C. Wilson, Jr., is a retired educator (37 years) who has been writing poetry, song lyrics and short stories for fi fty years. In addition to writing, he enjoys singing in his church choir and as a tenor soloist for church and other special events. Other hobbies include wood working, reading, yard work and photography as well as involvement in the Suffolk Virginia Sister Cities International organization and as a board member of the Suffolk Art League. He and his wife, Sandra, for whom the poem in this book was written, live in Suffolk, VA in a renovated 1913 house on Lake Meade where yard work is mandatory.
