Kathy Ruth (Hall) Haack
I graduated from Parkville Senior High school (Parkville, Maryland) with honors. I excelled in Science, History, Art and Music. In my junior year, I won an award in the Science fair. I was in the A cappella choir and made art projects for the performances. I started making oil paintings when I was only 15.
I took a writing class at Harford Community college and the teacher really liked my stories. She said I had a real gift for writing which gave me the impetus to write poetry.
For me, poetry is a wonderful way to express those things in life which are so very meaningful to me like issues of the environment, morality, humanitarian causes and special people who touch my heart and soul.
Noble House has published about six of my earlier poems.
My husband, Randy and I decided to honor our daughter’s memory by including some of her poems along with ours, hence the book of poetry which we are presenting is titled “Three Voices”. Each of us has our own style of writing and choice of subject matter.
I graduated from the College of Notre Dame in Maryland with a double major degree, one in Business and one in Computer Information Systems, with Delta Mu Delta honors.
