How The Arcadia Project came to be.
In the spring of 2016 I awoke from a dream in tears. Putting the fragments of the dream together I realised that I had material for a new book. In the fall, my husband Roy was diagnosed with cancer and I stopped work on The Arcadia Project because I had to deal with his health before I could continue with the subject of my heroine Jillienne Landon’s plight. I took up the task of completing the book in the spring of 2017 with a new awareness of the disease.
Sadly, my husband passed away on April 17th, 2019.
