Connie Clanton is a retired elementary school teacher. She has always loved books and is an avid reader herself. Her inspiration for Magic on Bagel Mountain came from her grandchildren, Harvey and Gwendolyn. They are always asking her to tell them stories about dinosaurs and unicorns, so she decided to write one in a book.
