Alcott Germany, II is an experienced practitioner when it comes to presenting simple solutions to complex problems. When Alcott shares ideas, he prefers using vivid images and stories that connect with his audience. This approach has resulted in personal and team achievements as an engineer, logistics manager, and Vice President in multiple industries and Fortune 500 companies.

Alcott earned a B.Ch.E. degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and a M.Ed. degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. At the University of Phoenix, Alcott developed a student-centered learning method that focuses on helping students grow their thinking skills and gain knowledge in the classroom through teamwork and active participation. Shortly after, Alcott used this method to create an online tool to assist teachers in bringing student-centered learning to their classrooms.

Alcott worked at various companies, such as Lear Corporation, Henkel Surface Technologies, DuPont Automotive, Procter & Gamble, AT&T, BASF, and Rocket Companies during his career. Currently, Alcott serves as owner of Instructional Design Solutions, LLC, a company that focuses on system design, leadership development, and operational excellence for large and small businesses, schools, and non-profit organizations.
For twenty years, Alcott’s impact as a respected community leader, student, and teacher has reached various communities, encompassing locations that include Detroit, MI, Southwest Georgia, Atlanta, GA, and Ontario, Canada. He will always have a passion for supporting schools, communities, and innovators through creative design, collaboration, and public speaking.
