Every year, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books becomes livelier and brighter due to the growing number of attendees. From book lovers, casual readers, and literary collectors to authors and publishers, people gathered to celebrate literacy.
The largest book festival in the US opened its doors last April for a glamorous two-day weekend celebration with the bookworms. Held at the University of Southern California, many book enthusiasts, book lovers, and book collectors, as well as writers, established authors, and many more, attended the free event.
A lot of bookfair-goers went by the Citi of Books booth to check for their next read and potential favorite book. One of the books that were chosen is “Wake Up Now: IFA – My Brother’s Keeper Kemi (God Promised Never to Leave Us Alone)” by Dr. Patricia Bickham Peter. It was displayed on April 20th and 21st at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Patricia Bickham Peter, born into a deeply spiritual household, was in the ideal position to carry out the father’s will. However, many people knew IFA-Kemi from a prophecy given hundreds of years before her birth.
Few said, “Let God’s will be done.” Many said, “No, not a female doing his will in my lifetime in this family.” However, God’s will through IFA-Kemi was completed because she recognized her soul mission.
The principle of seeking, knocking, and asking has been profoundly transformative in my spiritual journey. Through seeking, I experienced a profound awakening; knocking opened doors that allowed me to fulfill my life’s purpose under the guidance of my Heavenly Father; asking for divine assistance facilitated a connection with the angels bestowed upon me by God.
Over a decade, I engaged in a relentless battle against a hospital’s egregious practice of permitting the termination of unborn black lives. My mission was clear: to cease this destruction and pave the way for the birth of warring angels. Central to this quest was the recognition of one’s soul mission, understanding one’s identity, and embodying love for all humanity as an extension of our love for the Divine. Through earnest prayer, I implored God to reveal the path I must tread to fulfill my calling.
