“The White House Chandeliers: History Behind The Walls of 7 U.S. Presidents” by Lynetta G. Stevens was displayed at The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California

Every year, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books becomes livelier and brighter due to the growing number of attendees. From book lovers, casual readers, and literary collectors to authors and publishers, people gathered to celebrate literacy.

The largest book festival in the US opened its doors last April for a glamorous two-day weekend celebration with the bookworms. Held at the University of Southern California, many book enthusiasts, book lovers, and book collectors, as well as writers, established authors, and many more, attended the free event.

A lot of bookfair-goers went by the Citi of Books booth to check for their next read and potential favorite book. One of the books that were chosen is “The White House Chandeliers: History Behind The Walls of 7 U.S. Presidents” by Lynetta G. Stevens. It was displayed on April 20th and 21st at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California.

Lynetta Stevens has produced an autobiography of Stewart “Calvin” Sr. and Janice “Marie” Stevens as a tribute and with fond memories to include facts that take the reader historically, “Behind the Walls of the White House.”.

Mr. Stevens, in his uniqueness, believed in himself when others didn’t. This autobiography follows Janice Marie Stevens, his devoted spouse, through numerous unexpected turns of events that occurred over three decades and seven presidential administrations.

“The White House Chandeliers: History Behind The Walls of 7 U.S. Presidents” is the story of Stewart C. Stevens Sr. He has incredibly interesting biographical pieces of art and stories that chronicle this young man from extremely humble beginnings, not of an elite upbringing in Washington, DC, landing a career as “The Chandelier Polisher” at the most esteemed place in the world: The White House. While climbing high altitudes—30 feet daily—his appreciation of work and family made all the difference.
