The Chinese edition of children’s book titled “Alisa in Washerland” by Marian Flores is out!

Citi of Books gladly announces the publication of the Chinese edition of the children’s book titled “Alisa in Washerland” by Marian Flores. This whimsical story takes inspiration from Alice in Wonderland and is perfect for young readers. It is now available for purchase through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retail sites.

Marian Flores has spent her life living in small Connecticut towns. She is married, has a son, and has an elderly cat. As an artistic child, she won many art awards. She graduated from Paier College of Art and later from Central Connecticut State University, where she was inspired to write this book. Currently, she is an art teacher at a private special needs school. She greatly enjoys her students, who are children on the autism spectrum with multiple disabilities.

The book itself was inspired by her childhood dislike of washing dishes and her nieces’ grumbling about putting them in the dishwasher. It even has a connection to a dream her sister had!

“Alisa in Washerland” has now a Chinese edition with a description: “弗洛雷斯创造了一个活泼、有趣 的小女主人公和一个充满聪明奇迹的 世界。本书起了最佳故事的作用:让您以前 所未有的方式看待平凡的事物。”- 艾伦-坦纳-马什《纽约时报》三届畅销书作家

“Alisa in Washerland” follows Alisa on an exciting adventure—but not down the rabbit hole! Find out what happens when you buy the book now via the links provided below:

  1. I am so excited that both children and adults are enjoying my book! I’ve learned that there are many who absolutely can relate to this book, because they don’t like doing dishes, too!!! May this story stir up imagination as you share it with your children. A friend’s granddaughter had to check out all the dishwasher as well as other appliances and asked questions about them.

I’m thrilled that young families in CHINA are reading my book too!!! This is beyond my wildest dreams and makes me so happy that you can enjoy my story.

  2. Almost forgot. Please share your stories with me. I would love to hear them.
