Citi of Books proudly brought the books of our remarkable authors to the heart of the 39th Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL), turning our space into a lively corner where stories, ideas, and creativity met.
Being part of FIL from November 29 to December 7, in Expo Guadalajara, Av. Mariano Otero 1599, Col. Verde Valle, Guadalajara, Jalisco, meant more than simply displaying books—it meant becoming part of a larger cultural heartbeat. Our gallery served as a bridge between authors and curious readers, offering a close-up look at stories that deserve the spotlight. From powerful biographies to practical guides, and from imaginative fiction to soul-stirring reflections, our curated collection drew in visitors who left with new favorites in hand. And with the vibrant spirit of FIL all around us, every conversation, recommendation, and smile felt like a reminder of why we love sharing books with the world.
With FIL’s electric atmosphere—filled with authors, readers, and cultures from around the globe—our gallery became a warm stop for visitors eager to discover fresh voices and inspiring works. Among the standout titles we showcased was “The Christian Trilogy: The Rapture, the Great Tribulation, and the City of Heaven” by Tom Del Favero.
“The Christian Trilogy: The Rapture, the Great Tribulation, and the City of Heaven” by Tom Del Favero is a unique and compelling journey into biblical truth, inspired by none other than The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Del Favero draws from Tolkien’s dramatic storytelling to bring powerful doctrines of Scripture to life in a way that is vivid, engaging, and deeply meaningful. His love for Tolkien’s work shines through as he mirrors that same sense of epic wonder—only this time, the adventure leads readers into the realities of the Rapture, the great tribulation, and the heavenly city.
What makes this book stand out is its mission to clarify truths that have often been misunderstood or misrepresented within the Christian community. Del Favero emphasizes that these doctrines are not optional or obscure—they are foundational. He points readers to Hebrews 6:1–2, reminding the body of Christ that understanding the resurrection of the dead, including the Rapture, is essential for spiritual maturity. By blending clear teaching with imaginative narrative elements, he makes these profound topics both accessible and engaging.
Throughout the book, Del Favero’s goal is simple yet transformative: to help readers move from spiritual infancy to deeper maturity in Jesus Christ. As Ephesians 4:13 encourages, believers are called to reach oneness in faith and a fuller knowledge of the Son of God. This book positions itself as a guide toward that growth, gently confronting misconceptions while offering solid biblical grounding.
Whether you’re someone seeking clarity on end-times doctrine or simply drawn to faith-based stories with depth and purpose, “The Christian Trilogy: The Rapture, the Great Tribulation, and the City of Heaven” offers an enriching and eye-opening experience. It’s a thoughtful blend of spiritual teaching and creative vision that encourages readers to examine what they believe—and why—while inspiring them to grow stronger in their walk with Christ.
