“Stop Using Your Mind: Get Healthier and Happier in Seven Days Using Meditation and Diet” by Celia Ko was Showcased at the 2025 Beijing International Book Fair – Book Gallery

The Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) is a remarkable celebration of literature, showcasing an impressive collection of over 220,000 titles that highlight both Chinese and international works. As the world’s second-largest book fair and Asia’s most influential publishing event, BIBF serves as a vital platform for cultural exchange and academic publishing, drawing numerous exhibitors and visitors from around the globe each year.

From June 18-22, 2025, the BIBF opened its doors for its 31st edition, welcoming book enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds to immerse themselves in the world of literature.

Citi of Books (COB) was thrilled to be part of this prestigious event! Traveling all the way from Albuquerque to Beijing, COB proudly featured 14 remarkable titles from our talented authors. Among the standout selections that captivated attendees with its insightful approach was “Stop Using Your Mind: Get Healthier and Happier in Seven Days Using Meditation and Diet” by Celia Ko.

Celia Ko was born in China, raised in Hong Kong, and attended college both in Taiwan and in Hawaii. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Master’s degree in Religion from the University of Hawaii. She is a watercolor and oil painter as well as a published author in Chinese.

She has been the Treasurer of the Hawaii Chinese Writers’ Association since 1997, and also currently serves as Vice President of the association, as well as Vice President of a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization named Hawaii Xing Yuan Tang (Realizing Your Will). This organization offers meditation and yoga classes to members twice a week.
