“Professionalizing Strategic Systems Management for Business and Organizational Success: Second Edition (German)” by Dr. Terrence Farrier presents a practical framework for both training and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement across companies and organizations. Whether in civilian industries, government institutions, or military operations, this model proves essential for sustaining effective business practices. Proudly published by Citi of Books, this is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major retail platforms.
As a business consultant since 1992, Dr. Terrence L. Farrier has worked with small and medium sized companies to better integrate and help them increase their profits. He explains that all businesses are different even if they appear the same. Their customer base, location, environments, competition and so on affect the overall business in ways that are not immediately noticeable. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Management Decision Sciences from Walden University in 2017 while acting as an adviser and consultant to both civilian and military groups. He earned his Master’s in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College in 2005, and Master’s in Business Administration from Regis University in 2001. He also earned a BS/BA in Human Resources and Marketing Management from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 1989.
He had a long military career and acted in support of think tanks for the US Army Reserves. Some of his overseas positions included duties as the Transition Officer for Logistics Battalions and Brigades in Europe in 2004. His military career also encompassed duties as part of the Command Advisor Group for U.S. Joint Forces Command as the Personnel Support and Enterprise Transition Officer from 2005

to 2007. His civilian capacities overseas were to support the II MEF (Fwd) Regional Command’s (RC) C-3 Operations as the Tactical IT Systems Administrator in 2011.
If you’ve ever worked in a company where the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing, this is the book your workplace desperately needed.
In “Professionalizing Strategic Systems Management for Business and Organizational Success: Second Edition,” Dr. Terrence Farrier breaks down the realities of modern organizations—how they grow, how they break, and how they can be revived—using an incredibly relatable tool: the CCIM Three-Leg Stool. It’s simple, powerful, and honestly one of those “why didn’t anyone teach me this sooner?” concepts. Whether you’re a new manager, a seasoned leader, or even an educator shaping the next generation, this book feels like a long overdue manual for making sense of organizational chaos.
One of the best parts of the book is how it speaks to today’s workforce changes. Farrier dives into the huge generational mix—Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z—and explains why managing people today is nothing like it was 20 years ago. Add in fast-moving technology, shifting global markets, rising competition, and suddenly the need for systems thinking becomes crystal clear. If you’ve ever wondered why your company struggles to keep talent, compete, or simply stay organized, the answers are in these pages. And the target audience? Anyone who wants their business or team to stop “reacting” and start truly strategizing for long-term success.
What really stands out is the moral lesson woven throughout the book: organizations die slowly—from neglect, from outdated habits, from siloed thinking—and the cure is intentional, connected leadership. That message isn’t just a business truth; it’s a life truth. Just like in real life, if we don’t take care of the foundational parts (our habits, our relationships, our communication), things fall apart over time. Farrier shows that sustainable success—whether in a company or in everyday life—isn’t about flashy quick fixes. It’s about building systems that support us, even when everything else is shifting around us.
So, if you’re tired of band-aid solutions, management fads, and corporate chaos, this book is absolutely worth picking up. It’s smart without being stuffy, practical without being boring, and full of insights that make you rethink how an organization really works behind the scenes. More importantly, it empowers you to actually do something with that knowledge. For anyone who wants their team, business, or classroom to thrive—not just survive—Farrier’s Three-Leg Stool is the game-changer you didn’t know you needed.

Viele Change-Management-Projekte scheitern.
