Meet Priscilla D. Johnson, a remarkable first-time author hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, who has recently captivated readers with her debut historical fiction novel, “All About Us.” Priscilla’s storytelling prowess shines through in this intriguing tale, drawing readers into a world rich with vivid descriptions and relatable characters.

A proud graduate of West Charlotte Senior High, she continued her education at Central Piedmont Community College and Queens University of Charlotte, where her passion for storytelling began to take shape. Priscilla’s journey as an author is a testament to her dedication and love for literature.

Before embarking on her writing career, Priscilla enjoyed a long-term position with Eastern Airlines and later became an American Airlines flight attendant.

Her extensive travels exposed her to diverse cultures, economic realities, and social issues, all of which broadened her perspective and influenced her writing. These experiences are woven into the fabric of “All About Us,” allowing readers to connect with the characters on a deeper level. Priscilla’s ability to paint ordinary characters with depth and authenticity has earned her a well-deserved 5-star rating and the prestigious Literary Titan Gold Book Award for October 2023.

“All About Us” by Priscilla D. Johnson circled on Caiti Morris as she narrated her tumultuous life growing up in Fair Green Housing Projects in the yea 1995, along with her older brother Preston eight, and their younger siblings. After they outgrew their apartment, living arrangements became worse.

Horrible conditions beat down the older kids, buckling their spirits. Their strong determination to protect their family while simultaneously being pulled in opposite direction resulted in a life of early labor, despair, anxiety, and subsequent murder. One child, scarred for a lifetime, something Pres and Caiti must keep to themselves. A best friend admits at a youthful age a secret they both must keep until their friend tragically meets his death.

Determined to remove themselves from their troubling past, was not an easy thing to do, particularly during the height of the Jim Crow era. One by one each of the Morris children left home in search of a better life, gambling on their dreams but not without obstacles. Their adult lives came with tragedies they never imagined.

Priscilla’s commitment to her craft and her ability to transport readers to bygone eras make her a rising star in the literary world, and we can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next!
