The world’s largest bookfair, Frankfurter Buchmesse, opened its doors last October 16-20, 2024, in Frankfurt, Germany. For worldwide business and trading, it is regarded as the most significant book fair on earth. More than 4,300 exhibitors and an expected 114,000 trade visitors from 131 countries, welcoming rights professionals from a total of 355 agencies and publishers make the Frankfurt Book Fair a place of endless discoveries. On the stages we experienced exciting international voices.
As the Frankfurter Buchmesse celebrates its anniversary for another year of serving the industry, Citi of Books did not miss the chance to join the 76th Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) in Frankfurt, Germany. This spectacular gathering honors fascinating works and their creators.
With a series of activities prepared, one of the most anticipated this year is the chosen country to be the guest of honor, which is Italy. The country will present not just its diverse, unique qualities as an attractive place to travel but also as a country with a rich literary tradition.
Citi of Books is excited to present books written by our distinguished authors. In our assigned booth, a range of books—from fiction to nonfiction—would be on exhibit. A book included in the gallery was “Is There Evidence for God?: An Economist Searches for Answers” by Robert James Genetski.
Robert Genetski is one of the nation’s leading economists. He is a teacher, columnist, and author of 5 books on classical economic principles. His latest economics book, Rich Nation, Poor Nation: Why Some Nations Prosper While Others Fail, provides over a century of evidence for the success and failure of economic policies in the US and around the world. For the past 25 years his consulting firm, Classical Principles.com, has provided economic and financial research to individuals and businesses around the world.
Genetski is a popular speaker known for using humor and anecdotes to simplify complex economic issues. Genetski taught economics at various institutions of higher learning including the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and New York University. He has held various positions in the financial industry, Senior VP for a major Midwest bank, money manager, investment advisor and director of investment research, and has served as a Director on the Boards of various public and private companies.
Sooner or later every thinking person wonders about God. Does God exist, or is he simply a figment of our imagination? If God exists, what is he like?
An economist with over fifty years of experience and five published books embarked on a groundbreaking project to explore evidence for God and tackle life’s profound questions. Approaching the search with a logical and systematic mindset, he likened himself to Mr. Spock from Star Trek, meticulously evaluating evidence, considering atheistic perspectives, investigating life after death, and examining the world’s religions as well as post-Biblical evidence.
In “Is There Evidence for God?: An Economist Searches for Answers,” his quest spanned many years and was marked by intense experiences akin to an Indiana Jones adventure, filled with frightening discoveries, sleepless nights, and enlightening moments. Despite the excitement, he faced significant challenges, including discouragement and thoughts of quitting. This journey, detailed in his book, promises both disturbing revelations and transformative insights, urging readers to consider the complexities of their own beliefs while navigating the tumultuous search for divine evidence.
