Eloise Collins signed her book entitled “Stand Up: A Children’s Guide to Improving Self-Confidence and Eliminating Bullying: From a Behavioral and Psychological Perspective” at The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books

Each year, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books buzzes with increasing energy and vibrancy as more attendees flock to the event. From avid readers and casual book lovers to literary enthusiasts and industry professionals, crowds gather to celebrate the joy of reading.

As the largest book festival in the United States, the event kicked off with a grand two-day celebration last April at the University of Southern California. Visitors, including book enthusiasts, collectors, authors, and publishers, enjoyed the festivities free of charge.

Many attendees gravitated towards the Citi of Books booth in search of their next literary adventure and to meet up with their favorite author. Last April 21st, at the University of Southern California, Eloise Collins signed and gave out copies of her insightful book, “Stand Up: A Children’s Guide to Improving Self-Confidence and Eliminating Bullying: From a Behavioral and Psychological Perspective.

Eloise Collins is an LPC and certified Christian life coach specializing in faith-based counseling for individuals and couples facing mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Nicholls State University and a master’s in professional counseling from Liberty University, she also holds certifications as a Christian life coach and Love and Logic parenting program facilitator. Her expertise lies in empowering parents with effective parenting skills, boosting self-confidence, guiding individuals towards their true purpose, and facilitating faith-building exercises. Additionally, she is a Prepare Enrich-certified relationship facilitator, currently operating her own private practice.

As the author of “The Faithful Journey,” Eloise offers guidance on exercising faith in Christ Jesus.

In her book “Stand Up,” Eloise is dedicated to enhancing children’s self-confidence. Recognizing the power of knowledge, she believes self-awareness leads to self-empowerment.

The goal of “Stand Up” is to equip children with the tools and resources necessary to advocate confidently for themselves, their peers, and even the adults in their lives.

The festival of books was filled with high-spirited individuals celebrating literary success. Eloise, author of a beloved children’s book, signed her books with huge smiles as kids and adults who enjoy children’s books went to our booth to grab a copy and chat about her book.
