The world’s largest book fair, Frankfurter Buchmesse, once again opened its doors from October 15–19, 2025, in Frankfurt, Germany—welcoming dreamers, storytellers, and innovators from around the globe. Known as the beating heart of the publishing world, this grand event gathers more than 7,500 exhibitors from over 100 countries, along with an expected 280,000 attendees and 10,000 media professionals. It’s not just a fair—it’s a global celebration of literature, culture, and creativity.

This year’s fair was extraordinary, with over 4,000 seminars and roundtable discussions spotlighting the future of books and storytelling. From bold new voices to legendary authors, the Frankfurt Book Fair 2025 continues to serve as the ultimate hub for discovering fresh perspectives and timeless tales.

As the fair celebrates another successful year of bringing together the brightest minds in publishing, Citi of Books proudly joins the festivities at this year’s Frankfurter Buchmesse, showcasing inspiring titles from its talented authors.

In collaboration with Citi of Books, the author of “Professionalizing Strategic Systems Management for Business and Organizational Success – Introducing the Change and Continuous Improvement Management Three-Leg Stool (Second Edition),” Terrence L. Farrier, Ph.D, held a successful book signing event during the 77th Frankfurter Buchmesse.

This book presents a practical framework for both training and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement across companies and organizations. Whether in civilian industries, government institutions, or military operations, this model proves essential for sustaining effective business practices.

In today’s business world, success relies not only on effectively managing employees but also on overseeing the systems and processes that shape modern business models. Strong organization and management are essential, though far from simple to achieve. As Theodore Isaac Rubin wisely noted, “Happiness does not come from doing easy work but from the afterglow of satisfaction that comes after the achievement of a difficult task that demanded our best.”

In his book “Professionalizing Strategic Systems Management for Business and Organizational Success: Introducing the CCIM Three-Leg

Stool (Second Edition),” Terrence L. Farrier, Ph.D, introduces a fresh approach to organizational leadership and training known as the “Change and Continuous Improvement Management (CCIM) Three-Leg Stool.” This framework is designed to help senior and mid-level managers

avoid stagnation, while also equipping educators and trainers with a broader method for preparing business students for life beyond academia—offering them practical tools for success in the corporate world.

As a business consultant since 1992, Dr. Terrence L. Farrier has worked with small and medium sized companies to better integrate and help them increase their profits. He explains that all businesses are different even if they appear the same. Their customer base, location, environments, competition and so on affect the overall business in ways that are not immediately noticeable. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Management Decision Sciences from Walden University in 2017 while acting as an adviser and consultant to both civilian and military groups. He earned his Master’s in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College in 2005, and Master’s in Business Administration from Regis University in 2001. He also earned a BS/BA in Human Resources and Marketing Management from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 1989.

He had a long military career and acted in support of think tanks for the US Army Reserves. Some of his overseas positions included duties as the Transition Officer for Logistics Battalions and Brigades in Europe in 2004. His military career also encompassed duties as part of the Command Advisor Group for U.S. Joint Forces Command as the Personnel Support and Enterprise Transition Officer from 2005 to 2007. His civilian capacities overseas were to support the II MEF (Fwd) Regional Command’s (RC) C-3 Operations as the Tactical IT Systems Administrator in 2011.

Farrier’s work is both clear and technical, drawing on extensive research and professional experience to explain the value of the CCIM Three-Leg Stool. Rather than viewing operations as a series of mandatory tasks, this model emphasizes understanding the “why” behind processes, while providing detailed, step-by-step guidance on the “how.”

This book is especially valuable for readers with a background or interest in business management and organizational operations. What makes it stand out is its broad applicability, extending beyond corporate settings into sectors such as government, politics, and even the military. It also proves highly relevant for academia, shedding light on how businesses must continually adapt to evolving technologies, shifting global cultures, and the passage of time itself.

Engaging, insightful, and practical, Dr. Terrence L. Farrier’s Professionalizing Strategic Systems Management for Business and Organizational Success: Introducing the CCIM Three-Leg Stool is a must-read. Ideal for senior leaders, mid-level managers, and business students, the book serves both as a guide for navigating the ever-changing landscape of business operations and as a valuable resource for advanced business courses.
