Citi of Books is thrilled to announce that we’ll be attending the 39th edition of the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL)—one of the most vibrant book events in the world. From November 29 to December 7, Expo Guadalajara will transform into a paradise of pages, packed with stories, cultures, authors, art, and endless inspiration. And yes—you’re officially invited to join the fun! 📖
This year’s fair is nothing short of extraordinary. With more than 800 writers from 34 countries, FIL is bringing together some of the biggest names in contemporary literature—like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Jan Carson, Donatella Di Pietrantonio, Leonardo Padura, María Dueñas, Cristina Rivera Garza, and many more. Expect captivating talks, book signings, cultural showcases, and exclusive insights from voices shaping the global literary landscape. Not to mention, Barcelona will be the Guest of Honor, bringing 69 authors and a world of Catalan and Spanish creativity through exhibitions, performances, films, gastronomy, and literature under the beautiful theme “Vindran les flors”—“The Flowers Will Come.”

Good news—the fair is super accessible! 🎟 Entrance fees are budget-friendly: General Admission is $30 pesos, while children (3–12), seniors, people with disabilities, students, and teachers with valid ID get in for just $25 pesos.
