Drawing around 30,000 attendees, this year’s London Book Fair showcased the vibrant world of publishing and creative content, marking a significant milestone in the industry. Under the new leadership of Adam Ridgway, the fair not only maintained its impressive attendance figures but also celebrated a 10-percent boost in rights-center table sales compared to 2024.
One of the standout features of this year’s fair was the International Rights Center, which sold a remarkable 550 tables. This increase in sales reflects the growing interest in rights trading and the importance of international collaboration in the publishing world. The rights center returned to a single floor layout, utilizing parts of the first floor in both the National and Grand Halls of Olympia London, creating a more cohesive and accessible space for attendees to engage in rights discussions and negotiations.
With over 1,000 exhibitors showcasing their works, the London Book Fair has once again proven to be a hub for creativity and innovation. Publishers, authors, agents, and industry professionals from around the globe gathered to share ideas, forge partnerships, and explore new opportunities. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the excitement of new titles, fresh ideas, and the promise of future collaborations.
