A movie treatment presents the idea of the film before writing the entire script. It highlights the most important information about the film that came from the book; it includes the title, logline, story summary (that may be presented as three-act movie plot summaries), and character description. Treatments also give authors the chance to condense their story concept so they can pitch it to studio heads or producers who might want to fund the movie.

The story “Caleb’s Journey” is an inspiring depiction of life in the ancient walled city of Jerusalem. This epic novel of historical fiction focuses on a man named Caleb, an elder Jewish and devout follower of the nascent Christian faith, from the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D to the rebirth of faith in Philadelphia, his first encounter with John the Baptist to the crucifixion of Jesus.
How strong is your faith in Him?
Early Christians were faced with trials, tribulations, and heartache as they wrestled with their spirituality and the forces of war and aggression against the Roman forces. As the tension rose, his life was thrown into chaos, which led him to get separated from his grandson, Abram. Caleb and the other survivors were taken as prisoners. Despite the devastation, Caleb clings to his faith, using his knowledge of the scriptures and to navigate the brutal politics and desperation of a city under siege.
After being released, Caleb took off for Philadelphia to reunite with his family and rebuild his life. He found a thriving Christian community in Philadelphia with Abram as its young leader and his wife, Sara. He spent his final days guiding and teaching his tales of survival and his unshakeable belief in the redemptive power of faith which inspired the community. The narrative ends with Joshua continuing Caleb’s mission of spreading Christian teachings.
The story aims to reach its readers emotionally and spiritually through its timeless narrative of struggle, resilience, and redemption through Caleb’s journey which was written for Christians and lovers of history. It advocates strengthening one’s faith and ignites hope amidst struggles we face throughout our lives.
