Every year, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books becomes livelier and brighter due to the growing number of attendees. From book lovers, casual readers, and literary collectors to authors and publishers, people gathered to celebrate literacy.
The largest book festival in the US opened its doors last April for a glamorous two-day weekend celebration with the bookworms. Held at the University of Southern California, many book enthusiasts, book lovers, and book collectors, as well as writers, established authors, and many more, attended the free event.
A lot of bookfair-goers went by the Citi of Books booth to check for their next read and potential favorite book. One of the books that were chosen was “100 Years of Deception: A Blueprint for the Destruction of a Nation” by Alan Adaschik. It was displayed on April 20th and 21st at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California.
Alan Adaschik was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and studied aerospace engineering at the University of Michigan. After graduating, he became a Navy Fighter Pilot. Following the completion of his military obligation, Al earned an MBA from Long Island University. Eventually, he was hired by the City of Fort Lauderdale and retired in 2001.
“100 Years of Deception” is a book aiming to uncover the truth behind events that have shaped the United States over the past century. It argues that the passage of the Federal Reserve Act in 1913 marked the overthrow of the government by bankers, who then manipulated the monetary system for their own benefit.
The book discusses how major global events, from WWI to the present day, have been influenced by these bankers, leading to catastrophic consequences such as the Great Depression and the creation of Israel. It also highlights the economic costs of the fraudulent debt-based monetary system. The remainder of the book contains essays analyzing contemporary issues and proposing solutions to rectify the situation. The author emphasizes the importance of seeking and knowing the truth to end the deception that has shaped the world we live in.
