Frankfurt will once again become a meeting place for the international book and media community when the 78th Frankfurter Buchmesse takes place from October 7 to 11, 2026. Bringing together publishing professionals, authors, literary agents, creative industry representatives, journalists, and readers from around the world, the five-day event provides a setting for discovering books, exchanging ideas, developing professional relationships, and exploring new opportunities across the publishing industry.
For the 2026 edition, Czechia will serve as the Guest of Honour, presenting its literature and culture through a programme featuring 75 Czech authors and more than 100 literary and cultural events. The Guest of Honour programme will add another cultural dimension to a fair already known for bringing together voices and publishing communities from different parts of the world.
Citi of Books will be attending Frankfurter Buchmesse 2026, bringing its authors and books into an international environment where publishing connections can develop across borders.
