His late Grandpa Joe, who served in World War II was the Senators #1 fan and had countless stories on Griffith Stadium. such as being down there with a wheel barrel selling sodas at Homestead Grays and Washington Senator games.
Marc’s dad on the other hand, a New York transplant, is still a Washington Redskins-WFT- Commanders Organization season ticket holder after receiving his 1st season ticket offer in the 1960s. About the time the Senators heartbrokenly left, Marc’s dad purchased Washington Redskins tickets to help raise his son on Washington sports.
