“The Magical Eggs on Dragon’s Lair: The Key, The Coin and the Ring Book 2” by Gina Sano is a fast-paced children’s fantasy adventure that blends mystery, friendship, environmental themes, and treasure-hunting excitement into a story filled with imagination and heart.

Set on the island of Dragon’s Lair, the novel follows a group of determined young friends as they search caves, hidden tunnels, and dangerous cliffs while desperately trying to save their beloved home from destruction. The story centers around Adam, Evette, John, Jane, and their friends as they struggle to cope with devastating news: the government plans to flood Dragon’s Lair in order to build a dam. Officials insist the project is necessary for water supply purposes, but the island residents feel ignored, displaced, and betrayed.

The people of Dragon’s Lair are ordered to leave their homes within a year and relocate near a noisy airport on the mainland, a future nobody wants. Adam, especially, feels heartbroken at the thought of losing the island he loves. After petitions, protests, and letters fail to stop the project, he becomes determined to find something extraordinary that could save Dragon’s Lair from destruction.

Meanwhile, the group continues exploring mysterious caves connected to earlier discoveries from years before. Together they climb dangerous ledges, squeeze through narrow tunnels, and navigate hidden underground passages in search of answers. Their explorations are physically demanding and often frightening, forcing them to crawl through cramped tunnels and climb deeper into unknown territory.

“The Magical Eggs on Dragon’s Lair: The Key, The Coin and the Ring Book 2” is compelling because it combines the excitement of a treasure hunt with emotional themes about family, friendship, and protecting home. The story balances fantasy and realism in a way that keeps readers emotionally invested while maintaining a strong sense of wonder and adventure.

As BIBF continues to unite readers, writers, and publishers across continents, Citi of Books remains proud to contribute to this global celebration of storytelling and knowledge. We look forward to the continued growth of international literary connections at BIBF 2026 and beyond, where books serve as bridges between cultures, ideas, and generations.
