Attending book events like the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books continues to play an important role in connecting stories with readers. It opens doors for collaboration, discovery, and inspiration that go beyond the pages of a book. As Citi of Books carries this momentum forward, readers are invited to explore featured titles in their Book Gallery, including “God’s Relentless Pursuit of His Beloved Fugitives” by William E. Richardson.
William Richardson is an Emeritus Professor of Religion from Andrews University. He currently resides in Bells, Tennessee, where he keeps in mental and spiritual shape preaching for the congregation in nearby Jackson once a month. Richardson also greatly enjoys cycling, often pedaling sixty miles a week. On the lighter side of life, he helps his loved ones stay on their toes with gag poems and gifts. William’s favorite Scripture is Romans 8:37-39. He prays that people would come to know how profound and persistent God’s love for us is.
“God’s Relentless Pursuit of His Beloved Fugitives” by William E. Richardson is a spiritually rich and reflective Christian work that explores the powerful idea that no matter how far a person strays, God continues to pursue them with unwavering love. Blending biblical insight with devotional-style reflection, the book speaks to those who feel lost, distant, or unworthy. It reframes the human tendency to run from God not as failure alone, but as part of a deeper story—one where divine love never gives up.
This book reminds readers that running does not disqualify them from being loved; in fact, it may be the very reason they are pursued even more. Ultimately, this is a story about grace that refuses to give up—a reminder that no matter how far one goes, they are never beyond the reach of God’s love.
