Amelia Ventus, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ida Ventus, was born and raised in the village of Milford, Ohio, and now resides in Pleasant Ridge, both of which are suburbs of Cincinnati. A graduate of Milford High School, she pursued higher education at the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University, ultimately earning an Associate of Science degree from Southern Ohio Business College.

As the youngest of twelve siblings, Amelia holds a special place in her family and is also the proud godmother of twins, Marcus and Malcolm. After a distinguished career at Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company, she retired following a tenure that began as a long-distance operator and later expanded to a role as a secretary in the Public Relations Department.

Amelia has always been deeply involved in her community, particularly at the Lincoln Heights Missionary Church, where she served as a choir member and taught primary and intermediate classes for several years. Outside of her professional and community commitments, she enjoys writing, reading, and teaching herself to play the piano by ear—a skill she cherishes as a divine gift and personal challenge for which she is deeply grateful.
