“Castle, Crown & Conscience” by Suna Flores is now available for purchase

Citi of Books is delighted to announce the publication of the book “Castle, Crown & Conscience” by Suna Flores. This thought-provoking novel is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retail sites.

Suna is the mother of five and the wife of a loving husband who is a ‘political junkie’ with her. Their fascination has led to the study of current events and revelations about people of today as seen through a fantasy of the past. Suna has been a teacher, a counselor, an actor and a playwright. Watching people and writing about them are her passion.

“If you think the world is crazy now, you should have been around in the Middle Ages”, says author Flores.

Is there a way that the world can focus on honesty, kindness and being good to others?

“Castle, Crown & Conscience” by Suna Flores aims for the readers to travel through time to the political intrigue of kings and queens that reflect our society today. People with power abused it, while people without power want it. This novel takes place in the Middle Ages, but the individuals and situations are so familiar that you may recognize them in the present time frame.

This novel aims to create awareness about politics and to consider individuals’ inner voices, both auras and consciences. Aura is the evil temptations that may cause a human to make inappropriate decisions out of greed, and conscience is the loud opinion of their human host. The Castle and the River Kingdom was led by King Sol, and Urhonordo was led by Queen Luna. King Sol went into a Dragon Quest and left the castle to Drum. The author uses ‘Castle, Crown’ to relate the society Drum handled to the sly and unscrupulous businesspeople and good people trying to live honest lives.

Our consciences could try to advise us, their host humans, but they could never really force humans to do what was right if they didn’t want to do so.
