Every year, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books becomes livelier and brighter due to the growing number of attendees. From book lovers, casual readers, and literary collectors to authors and publishers, people gathered to celebrate literacy.
The largest book festival in the US opened its doors last April for a glamorous two-day weekend celebration with the bookworms. Held at the University of Southern California, many book enthusiasts, book lovers, and book collectors, as well as writers, established authors, and many more, attended the free event.
A lot of bookfair-goers went by the Citi of Books booth to check for their next read and potential favorite book. One of the books that were chosen is “His Source, Your Source” by John Bako. It was displayed on April 20th and 21st at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California.
John Bako, an alumnus of the University of Washington, holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and systems and a master’s degree in cybersecurity and leadership. Originally from Ghana, West Africa, he is now a US citizen residing in Washington State. In addition to being a Cyber Operations Officer in the US Army Reserve’s Cyber Corps and a former Microsoft employee, he currently serves as a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Throughout his life, John has been affiliated with the Ghana Presbyterian Church and the Ghana Holy Order of Cherubim and Seraphim. Presently, he is a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tacoma, WA, where he passionately serves God, aspiring to see His will manifested and His purpose fulfilled as outlined in scripture, aiming to contribute to a better world and glorify Jesus Christ.
“His Source, Your Source” explores the fundamental concept of creation, highlighting God’s pivotal role as its originator. Rooted in biblical teachings, the book underscores the divine underpinning of the universe, scientific knowledge, and technological advancements, asserting that all understanding ultimately stems from discovery rather than human invention. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, it offers spiritual guidance for believers and non-believers alike, shedding light on life’s purpose, the existence of God, and the afterlife. Addressing enigmas in quantum mechanics and consciousness, it reveals the interconnectedness of all existence and presents a unified field theory.
Through divine insights, the book redefines conventional notions such as gravity and time while also providing wisdom for spiritual growth and navigating contemporary challenges. It underscores the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ and the authority of the Bible, with the aim of leading readers towards spiritual fulfillment and eternal salvation by reestablishing a connection with God.
