Each year, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books buzzes with increasing energy and vibrancy as more attendees flock to the event. From avid readers and casual book lovers to literary enthusiasts and industry professionals, crowds gather to celebrate the joy of reading.
As the largest book festival in the United States, the event kicked off with a grand two-day celebration last April at the University of Southern California. Visitors, including book enthusiasts, collectors, authors, and publishers, enjoyed the festivities free of charge.
Many attendees gravitated towards the Citi of Books booth in search of their next literary adventure and to meet up with their favorite author. Last April 20th, at the University of Southern California, Pam Fiecke signed and gave out copies of her insightful book, “Inspirational Stories That Spark Our Emotions and Touch the Heart and Soul.”
Pam Fiecke’s strong Christian faith comes from her elementary school years in a religious system. There, she was instilled with morals, values, and a love for God. She continued this path of service by teaching Sunday school and volunteering in her community. However, her talents extended beyond religion. Tests showed a knack for writing children’s books, and she honed this craft further through professional training. Pam also has a successful business background and works as a nursing assistant, demonstrating her well-rounded skillset.
Pam Fiecke’s book, “Inspirational Stories That Spark Our Emotions and Touch the Heart and Soul,” offers a collection of uplifting stories that connect everyday experiences to a deeper spiritual meaning. By using our talents and following Jesus’ teachings, the book suggests, we can unlock our inner light and bring love into the world.
As everyone gathered in our booth, Pam welcomed them with a huge smile. From wide-eyed youngsters to seasoned bookworms, everyone enjoyed their conversations about her insightful book. It was a truly joyful event for all book lovers.
